My dear Wynn
Formidable as your office is to a stray foreigner, I shall yet on this occasion venture to crave a passport for one poor Spaniards Letter to his printer.1 Send it for me to the Twopenny Post.
It would do your heart good to see how beautiful this country is in this beautiful weather. There is quite a pleasure in being alive at such a season. I am more idle than I ought to be for sheer happiness – yet am I getting on, & my summer campaign is likely to be a very busy one.
