CHA: Digital Editions

This Cultural Heritage Archive (CHA) provides long-term sustainability for your TEI-encoded digital edition or resource. Hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University, the publicly accessible archive follows the principles described by The Endings Project: those principles including the requirements for contributing are available here.

After peer review by the CHA Board of Governors, the carefully curated, edited, and TEI-encoded documents are loaded onto a static server where they are made publicly available, readable (via minimal html, css, and javascript), searchable (via static search), and downloadable (see more), as well as interoperable with other data stored in the archive. When the project's own interface is no longer usable for whatever reason, the project url can be directed here (https://cha.artsci.tamu.edu/[YourProject'sName]) to ensure not only that the data is secure but that the project is still usable by readers and researchers:
